BMC hails from the Swiss Alps, so you know they mean it when they refer to the Trailfox as the Swiss Army Knife of all-mountain bikes. This do-it-all shredder is crafted from carbon and comes equipped with 150mm of BMC's APS rear suspension and a Fox Float CTD shock to tear up steep climbs and fly down the gnarliest descents with style to spare, while the Kashima-coated Fox Talas fork lets you choose between 120mm and 150mm of travel. A Shimano 3 x 10 XTR drivetrain puts you in the right gear and XTR brakes scrub speed with ease. You also get a RockShox Reverb Stealth dropper post for maximum adjustability. And, the Trailfox is spec'd out with Easton Haven wheels, stem, handlebar and a premium Fizik saddle.
BMC's iSC (Integrated Skeleton Concept) saves weight by supporting the top tube at the seat tube, increasing stiffness where necessary: in the front triangle of the frame. Using the latest in FEM (Finite Elements Method) computer technology, they can tailor each tube junction for the appropriate distribution of forces.
BMC's Advanced Pivot System (APS) significantly improves the suspension by balancing shock absorption and pedaling efficiency. It does this by connecting two laterally stiff closed triangles with a pair of links, an innovation BMC partnered with Fox Racing Shox on. The result is outstanding suspension and a ride ready for everything from XC to enduro.
